Join Brevard's Premier Belly Dance Academy
Join our dance academy and immerse yourself in an exciting world of middle eastern dance. The academy is committed to enriching each dancer with an expansive knowledge of middle eastern dance, instilling a passion for the arts, increasing self confidence, all while building life long friendships.
We are located on the Florida Space Coast and offer classes in several different cities within Brevard County; Melbourne, West Melbourne, Palm Bay, and Viera. Classes are designed to educate and inspire, ranging from beginner to master classes. The academy also hosts a performing troupe called “The Melbourne Belly Dance Troupe” and performs in venues around Florida. Students, teachers, all classes, and the community are given the opportunity to perform and vend in our annual shows.

Our Annual Shows and Community Events
Melbourne Belly Dancing Space Coast provides you with authentic and captivating performances year after year. We pride ourselves in our annual dance productions and each year we give teachers and students an opportunity to perform. We also support the local community and perform in workshop and other miscellaneous events.
Hafla, from the Arabic meaning is a get-together, party, or ceremony. In the US, we refer to it as a gathering of belly dancers, often with a formal stage show and vendors.
Want to join us on stage?
Sign up for one of our classes and mention that your are interested in participating in one of our annual events. We will guide you with costuming, choreographies, and give you a wonderful stage with lighting to showcase your skills to family and friends.
