Get ready for an incredible 3-Part Series of Fire Workshops with Mundi Silvers. Mundi is a talented professional belly dancer and professional fire performer! She is known for her mesmerizing fire acts, including fire eating, fire staff, fire whips, fire POI, and fire fans performances. She has performed at various events and venues and has studied with some of the best fire instructors in the US.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn something new and thrilling! This is for the curious ones who would like to try out something exciting, unusual and adventurous! Students will be given an opportunity to use different props so they can select a fire prop that they’d like to specialize in first.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will provide a solid foundation to perform with confidence and safety.
All participants are invited to learn Mundi’s choreography and perform it during our next Holiday Hafla in December. Additional practice sessions will be hosted for workshop participants.

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop covers fire safety, fuels, safety and set-up, fire extinguishing, and hands-on experience putting out flames. It will introduce fire props like the Fire POI, Fire Staff, and Fire Fans. Participants will learn and practice some basic moves that will be used and built upon in the next workshop.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
WHAT YOU NEED
No fire tools are required, but if you have some please bring them! No experience necessary. Great for non-dancers and dancers.
CAUTION: Do not purchase a set of POI, Fire Staff, or Fire Fans without a wick! Wait for your instructors guidance.

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop will cover the most basic movements and will move on to the more complex composite movements at the end. Throughout the workshop, participants will collect a large combo, consisting of all the learned movements to start a choreopgraphy.

Your fire prop will be required; Fire POI, Fire Staff, and Fire Fan will be covered in this workshop. No experience necessary. Great for non-dancers and dancers as well as experienced dancers who want to brush up or join the fun.

This workshop builds upon Part 2 and concludes the series. Throughout the workshop, participants will continue to build on the technique and combos learned in Part 2 and the final choreography will be presented. Participants are welcome to perform with the group during the December Holiday Hafla sponsored by Melbourne Belly Dancing.
