Melbourne Belly Dancing Space Coast presents a workshop with Boom Boom Shake (BBS)!  BBS began as a collaboration between Elizabeth and Shane in 2010 in an effort to create fun drum solos and drum duets.  Since then, it has grown and evolved into a multi-instrumental music and dance performance project featuring guest musicians and dancers.    BBS recently performed at the Brevard Renaissance Festival this past January.

There’s nothing like performing with a LIVE drummer!  This 2 hour workshop features a talented drummer, Shane, and dancer, Elizabeth who will teach you the basics about dancing with a live drummer.  They will go over the basics of Middle Eastern rhythms commonly used and how to dance to them with a drummer, the dancer and drummer connection, and the ability to improvise with some structure.  This will be an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Cost of the workshop is $40 in advance (signing up online) or $50 after 3/18.  The online sign-up will be active until 12 pm 3/25/2023.
